Welcome to the Quist Lab.  My students and I focus on answering questions related to the management and conservation of fishes and their habitats. The impetus for my research emerges directly from issues and concerns related to fisheries management problems. Consequently, research questions and approaches are framed in a manner that has relevance to the general scientific community and natural resource managers.
